The Difference, Power, and Discrimination (DPD) program researches effective student learning outcomes assessment approaches and designs and implements a pilot learning outcomes assessment project in collaboration with the Bacc Core Implementation Team and the OSU Director of Assessment. Since July 2010, DPD is a program of the new Center for Teaching and Learning under the auspices of the Associate Provost for Academic Success and Engagement in the Academic Affairs division.
The DPD Program works to create a more inclusive curriculum that addresses issues of race, class, gender, sexual identity, and other institutionalized systems of inequality. The Program provides faculty and staff with the education and resources needed to develop or modify comparative diversity courses.
