This month, Oregon State University will be participating in several national college fairs in the Northwest. We are very excited here in the Office of Admissions to meet prospective students and answers questions about OSU! National college fairs can be large and at times overwhelming for students with almost 300 post secondary opportunities all in one location. Although, there is one thing that students can do RIGHT NOW to make their college fair experience meaningful and productive. Students have access to register for some national college fairs before attending. Specifically, this month, OSU will be at national fairs in Portland, OR, Seattle, WA and Boise, ID where registration is strongly encourage before attending.
One major benefit of registering before the fair is avoiding the lengthy line to sign up for your barcode at the fair location. Students that pre-register should bring with them the barcode print out.
Why register for the fair?
Students can request information quickly from universities of interest at the fair.
Students do not have to fill out the information cards to identify interest in the university. The barcode paper serves as the way to provide contact information to the university.
