Response to ATD and other comments

May 9th, 2006

After sorting through a number of spam comments, I found the following from this post:

# Katie Says:
“I was just wondering if there was a possibility to transfer late and when the transfer deadline was.”

The official deadline was May 1, however, we still take applications on a rolling basis, i.e. we will process them as they come in. These are not considered for any scholarships.

# Ashley Says:
“Do I need to send in my ATD before obtaining a GAP?”

GAP is the general access pin that is used to gain access to the Student Online Services system. There are certain services that students have access to once they have registered for classes (ONID, Blackboard, etc). Payment of the ATD gets a student the invitation to START, the summer advising and registration program. At START, students receive their registration pin from their academic adviser so that they can register for classes.

# Kathryn Says:
“What if you’re already registered for summer term. Does the ATD matter then? I was under the impression it didn’t…but it’d be good to know for sure.”

ATD’s are required for students starting fall term only.
