THE OREGON CLMATE CHANGE RESEARCH INSTITUTE (OCCRI):
June 2007 marked the passage of HB 3543 by the Oregon legislature, which set greenhouse gas reduction goals and created a new Oregon Climate Change Research Institute (OCCRI). The OCCRI is nascent and open discussion regarding institute development is on-going.
DATABASE OF CLIMATE RESEARCHERS :
A database of climate change researchers in Oregon is under construction. The database provides a resources to the government, the OCCRI, and to the public. The database is intended to answer questions such as, "Who in Oregon knows something about the impact that climate change will have on fresh water resources in our state?"
If your work is relevant to research on climate change and/or the impacts of climate change, and you would like your information to be included in the database, you are invited to fill out the attached form and e-mail it back to Dave Conklin (david.conklin@oregonstate.edu). The form is a Microsoft Word document file. See a completed form as an example.
