University Relations and Marketing

In order to create brand continuity and to conserve valuable time and resources, we've developed a system of themes and templates for Web sites developed in the Drupal platform. Drupal is the preferred content management system. There is no cost for hosting or use of the themes by departments or academic units.

These templates and themes should be the starting point for any online communication project undertaken by an university department, office or program.

The templates have been developed with flexibility in mind so that different entities can create an individual identity within the Oregon State brand guidelines by selecting different color themes and imagery. Additional themes and templates that reflect the best practices in design and the Integrated Marketing Communications Plan will be regularly developed for this system.
