The Division of University Advancement supports Oregon State University by strengthening awareness of and support for the university's mission and goals.
Primary Objectives
- Advance OSU's reputation and increase visibility through coordinated efforts through the Integrated Marketing Communications Plan and Strategy.
- Promote the academic, research and outreach accomplishments of faculty and students.
- Strengthen the university's image and reputation through issues and crisis management and through coordinated marketing and communications strategies.
- Provide leadership for the university community in graphic standards, messages, licensing and protocol.
- Lead the University's social media strategy, developing new ways to engage key audiences through emerging electronic communications.
- Build connections to the University through strategic events planning.
- The division works in partnership with other OSU communicators, the OSU Alumni Association, Athletics, Government Relations and the OSU Foundation.
