IFS Senator Jim Lundy will report on issues discussed during the recent IFS meeting. Becky Johnson, OSU-2007 Steering Committee Chair, will report on the OSU-2007 process. Bob Bontrager, Assistant Provost for Enrollment Management, will present a proposed Undergraduate Admissions Policy. C. INFORMATION ITEMS
Interim President Tim White will host a reception from 5:00-6:00 PM for all Senators from 5:00-6:00 PM immediately following the January Faculty Senate meeting in the LaSells Stewart Center Myrtle Tree Alcove. All Senators are encouraged to attend. Faculty Senate meetings for 2003 have been scheduled from 3:00-5:00 PM on the dates indicated below. Currently, all meetings are scheduled in the LaSells Stewart Center Construction and Engineering Hall, but Senators are advised to check the monthly agenda to determine the meeting site. February 6, 2003 March 6, 2003 April 3, 2003 May 1, 2003 June 5, 2003 October 2, 2003 November 6, 2003 December 4, 2003 All newly elected Senators, and those who have not previously attended a New Senator Orientation, are invited to attend the session scheduled for January 9, 2003 from 1:00-2:50 in the LaSells Stewart Center Agriculture Production Room, immediately preceding the January Faculty Senate meeting. Please contact the Faculty Senate Office at faculty.senate@orst.edu if you plan to attend the Orientation. Faculty Senate Handbook materials can be found on the Faculty Senate web site. Since experience has shown that the majority of Senators do not use the updated materials, and since the web site is frequently updated, hard copies of the Handbook are no longer being distributed.
