Club Feature: Nia Kuumba

Nia Kuumba (Swahili for "purpose" and "creativity") was established to provide a community of minority artists at OSU who are united in their art and the promotion, creation, and continuation of art through mutual support and public performance.  This group was established by Dr. Michael Ingram whose work with minority students on campus has been invaluable and integral to the success of many OSU students.  This is a student run group that originally began as a poetry group but has now expanded to include all artists of color from all areas of the arts.

They meet every first and third Wednesday of the month in the Memorial Union Lounge at 6 pm.
