IB World Conference Highlights

Posted August 24th, 2010 by staff

The International Baccalaureate World Conference was held at Oregon State University from August 9-13, 2010. This event, held for the first time in 8 years, brought together hundreds of high school IB students for education, recreation and a call for global action.  Hosted by the Office of Admissions, the participants took part in a variety of hands-on activities including engineering activities led by Dr. Skip Rochefort, Director of Precollege Programs and Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering.  A video highlights reel was compiled by one of the participants – check out Dr. Skip around 2:54 and the visits to Hatfield Marine Science Center!
