Application Procedure--Applications are still being accepted!
The application process has two parts:
1) Parent/guardian online information and
2) Materials from Applicant
Verification that the applicant meets one of the Eligibility Criteria is required.
Families who have enrolled a child in a previous OSU Precollege Program (Expeditions, Winter Wonderings, Adventures in Learning, STEM Academy, or KidSpirit) should log in using the same email address and password used for those previous registrations.
Families who have not previously used the OSU Precollege Programs online registration system will need to set up a new account with password and answers to security questions.
Families unable to access the online application should contact Adventures in Learning at 541-737-2403 to request an application form be mailed to them.
Completing the Application
When completing the AIL application process, parents/guardians should be prepared to provide information about their child’s intellectual, behavioral, and social characteristics, work with others in group settings, strategies to assure the child has a positive academic and social experience, and any special services
The submitted information is not used as admission criteria. It assists program staff in designing instruction and activities to meet the needs of enrolled students.
The most beneficial materials are thoughtful, complete, and designed to help the staff gain insight into each applicant and their strengths and interests.
