The Oregon State University Postdoctoral Association (OPA) is a postdoc organization which provides opportunities for professional development and networking for all OSU-affiliated postdocs. We also work with the Associate Dean of the Office of Postdoctoral Programs (OPP) in the Graduate School to improve the postdoctoral experience across OSU. The OPA is looking for postdocs to serve on the Board of Directors!

The OPA Board is looking for people interested in getting more involved with the Postdoc community by serving on the OPA Board of Directors! The term will run until June 30th, 2017.

The details of the OPA Board positions still available are as follows:

Secretary: Records all motions, votes, and proceedings during the Executive Board meetings, takes meeting minutes, is responsible for updating and curating the OPA G-drive, and serves as the Co-Chair of the Bylaws Committee. Webmaster & Public Relations Coordinator: Develops, manages, and maintains the OPA website, posts minutes from monthly meetings to the website, takes the lead on advertising for OPA events through social media, and acts as a liaison with other OSU departments, associations, and campus units to collaborate on events that benefit the OSU Postdoc community.
