Veteran Status

It is the policy of Oregon State University that no employee or applicant for employment will be discriminated against because he or she self-identifies as a qualifying veteran.  A "qualifying veteran" is a veteran or disabled veteran who was honorably discharged from U.S. military service.

Oregon State University is committed to hiring and promoting qualifying veterans without discrimination based upon their disability or veteran status in all employment practices such as employment upgrading, demotion or transfer, recruitment, advertising, layoff or termination, rates of pay or other forms of compensation, and selection for training. For additional information, please visit Consideration of Veterans in the Hiring Process.
