Read more...New Student Programs & Family Outreach (NSPFO) strives to serve as a campus leader in supporting the transition process for new students, as well as their family members, through educational programs and outreach.
In order to support your transition to OSU, New Student Programs & Family Outreach offers a three step process called The Beaver Nation Migration. The Beaver Nation Migration includes: START, CONNECT, and a first-year student seminar: U-ENGAGE.
All incoming first-year and transfer students are required to attend OSU’s START orientation program in order to register for fall term courses.The Beaver Nation Migration
STEP 1: START ORIENTATION [CLOSED FOR 2009]
START is OSU's orientation, registration and advising program for first-year and transfer students. START has concluded for 2009. If you are a new student and still need to see an advisor and register please contact your college advising office directly.STEP 2: CONNECT
CONNECT week occurs the week before fall term classes start. It is a week filled with traditions, academic and social programs and a great way to get CONNECTed to campus Click here for an event schedule.STEP 3: U-ENGAGE
U-Engage is OSU's first-year seminar offered only during the fall term. The goal of U-Engage is assist students with understanding their transition to OSU and becoming more familiar with resources available.New Student Programs Blog
