What is Qualtrics?

Qualtrics is a well-known and well-respected survey software company that provides online survey software. All of the survey creation, distribution, data collection, storage and reporting is hosted on Qualtrics servers.

Who can use OSU’s Qualtrics service?

The campus-wide survey service is available for all faculty, staff and students with an active OSU ONID account and password.

How much does it cost?

Use of the survey service is free. OSU has licensed the software from Qualtrics.

Who do I contact if I have a problem?

If you are trying to login with your ONID account and are experiencing a problem, contact the OSU Computer Helpdesk at http://oregonstate.edu/is/tss/och/helpdesk or via phone at 541-737-3474.

How do I create an account?

Go directly to the OSU Qualtrics site to create a new account or login to your existing account. By default, Qualtrics will use the OSU username and password you logged into your computer with if it’s a Windows PC.  If you are prompted to enter a username and password, please use your primary domain login and password. You may have to type your domain followed by a backslash and then your username (e.g. ONID\beaverosu, CN\john.beaver, FSMAIL\marybeaver, etc.).  If you’re unsure of your domain login and password or have problems logging in, please contact your DCA.
