All electrical services have been restored to Owen, Merryfield, and Kearney Halls. PP&L was able to restore power at 7:30pm last night after identifying a problem with an overhead conductor, and campus operation crews worked to restore all other known electrical issues.

Due to weather related emergency repairs the main ELECTRICAL system to Owen, Merryfield, and Kearney will be without power for an unknown amount of time this afternoon. Other buildings campus wide have also been affected by a series of power fluctuations. Pacific Power is responding and our electrical crew is on site, working to fix these issues. More information will follow as services are being restored.

Pacific Power & Light will be updating portions of the power grid on the OSU Corvallis campus over the coming weeks, necessitating some weekend power shutdowns to a number of buildings on campus. The replacement of these older, lesser load switches is part of a plan to provider greater power system stability on campus.
