Pacific Power & Light will be updating portions of the power grid on the OSU Corvallis campus over the coming weeks, necessitating some weekend power shutdowns to a number of buildings on campus. The replacement of these older, lesser load switches is part of a plan to provider greater power system stability on campus.

Due to a priority change within Pacific Power & Light (PacifiCorp), there has been a last-minute change to the scheduled power shutdowns scheduled for June 16th to update portions of the power grid on the OSU Corvallis campus.
The following buildings WILL NOT have power shutdown on June 16th:

Facilities Services has informed us that there will be a power outage this Sunday, June 16th, 2013, affecting the following buildings with CN customers: Withycombe Hall, Ballard Extension Hall, Women’s Building, Snell Hall, Pharmacy, Furman Hall and Kerr Admin.

He is currently in custody, but may be released in the near future. PP&L, our Electrical Utility provider, is scheduling an all-day electrical shutdown, to replace 3-4kv oil switches in the following buildings, on Sunday, April 21, April 28 and June 16.
