Media Development produces media and instructional materials for media outlets, web applications, or recorded formats. We also support videoconferencing, broadcasting and streaming infrastructure.

Production

We offer all levels of media production, including:

Multi-camera television studio for producing news events, instructional/training material, interviews and television programs.
Facilities for hosting videoconferencing for meetings and academic programs. Schedule an event now.
Remote video production equipment and staff to produce instructional materials, lecture recordings, and special events.
Audio booth for recording radio interviews, podcasts and other audio programs.

Distribution

We provide a range of media distribution services.

Online Media - We provide online media hosting and viewing through MediaSpace. Our services allow the OSU community to post media online, build videos into their websites, or distribute live events via the web.
Cable and Broadcast Networks - We are a hub for for local and statewide cable and television networks.
- Corvallis Comcast Channel 27 is OSU's local educational channel.
- Oregon WIN distributes programming to cable channels throughout the region.
- Satellite Uplink - Uplink and downlink services to connect with regional, national or international media networks.
- Radio Networks - We have an audio booth for high quality recordings or live interviews with national and international radio networks.
FCC Licensing Coordination - We assist departments and other administrative units with FCC licensing issues including filing for new licenses and maintaining current licenses in good standing with the FCC.

Media Duplication

Media Services offers duplication for multiple formats including most videotape formats, CDs and DVDs. We also provide PAL conversion services and duplication of 16mm and other older media formats for archival purposes. For more information, contact us at 541-737-2121.
