SIT Indonesia: Bali- Arts, Religion, and Social Change
The program is based on the island of Bali, a predominantly Hindu island in an otherwise Muslim nation.
It examines the interaction between traditional Balinese arts and culture, rising economic and political forces, and globalization. Students consider current and emerging debates on the future of Balinese culture and society in relation to global pressures such as increased development and international tourism.
Class Format:Classes Primarily with US Students
Good academic standing, minimum 2.5 GPA, a least one year college-level courses completed
