One of the most romantic and intriguing cities in the world, Paris has something for everyone: education, history, culture, cuisine, and nightlife! Like many large European cities, Paris is divided into districts, or "arrondissements," totaling twenty, that spiral the city beginning at the Louvre. Paris is the center of French politics, and the ground for innovations in art, fashion, and culture. A large metropolitan, and international city full of tradition and rich European history, it is a wonderful juxtaposition of old and new.
