Abstract

The purpose of this thesis was to find out cultural differences
between Japanese and Germans in patters of thought, such as logic and
reasoning, and to explore their influences on intercultural
communication.
A literature survey and a lecture provided information
concerning the evolution of Western and Eastern patterns 'of thought,
as well as of German and Japanese logic and reasoning.
