Water Resources Graduate Program

My research involves designing an absorption spectroscopy device to measure water vapor and carbon dioxide concentrations.  Currently, point measurements are used to determine the amount of water to be applied via irrigation.  A device that measures path-integrated concentrations of water vapor could improve irrigation efficiency.
