Services provided by Radiation Safety staff include:
Inspections and surveys (equipment and labs)
Radioactive materials and equipment authorizations
Order, receipt, survey, transfer and delivery of radioactive shipments on campus
Shipment of radioactive materials from campus
Maintain inventories of radiation sources
Dosimetry (exposure monitoring)
Radioactive waste collection and disposal
Radiation equipment calibration and repair (fee service)
Incident response and spill control
Sealed source leak testing
Commission and decommission labs
