What is the Education Double Degree?
With the undergraduate Education Double Degree program, you take only 40 additional credit hours in education along with the coursework for a degree in your chosen field.
What Are the Advantages of the Education Double Degree?

With an Education Double Degree, you will be authorized to teach at one of the following levels: Early Childhood/Elementary (age 3-grade 4); Elementary (grades 3-8); Middle Level (grades 5-9); or High School (grades 9-12).
If you choose to teach at the Middle or High School levels, you’ll need an endorsement in one of these areas:
Business Education, Family and Consumer Sciences Education, French, Biology, German, Chemistry, Spanish , Integrated Science, Physics, Language Arts Education (English), Health Education, Social Studies, Technology Education, Mathematics Education
The Education Double Degree for K-12 is 40 quarter hours: 8 credits of core requirements; 17 credits of teaching methods; and 15 credits of student teaching.
