In March 2002, when our then School of Education was reestablished as a freestanding unit, a faculty task force, consisting of George Copa, Karen Higgins, Beverly Hobbs, Michael Ingram, Thomas Kirch, and Anne Manlove, was charged with creating a governance structure that would support our work. The governance structure is intended to support our mission and vision and to nurture our values of creativity, connection, culture, and caring.
