Susan Shaw, Athletics Advisory Board Chair, will briefly inform faculty of newly formed subcommittees of the Athletics Advisory Board. Bruce Sorte, Faculty Senate President-Elect, will present a revised PERS resolution. Anthony Wilcox, Professional Faculty Issues Group Chair, will present the draft report from the Issues Group. C. You are invited to an all-campus farewell for President and Mrs. Risser on December 8 from 4:00-6:00 PM in the MU Lounge. For those of you who were not able to attend the November 19 presentation of the Forum on Faculty Rewards and Evaluation, it is available on the web - please note that Real One Player is required to view and hear this streaming. The New Senator Orientation will be held January 9. If you are a continuing Senator, but were not able to attend the orientation when you were elected, please contact the Faculty Senate Office at 737-4344 if you would like to attend the upcoming session. Faculty whose Senate terms extend beyond December 31, 2002 and who have accepted 1040 hour appointments are no longer eligible to serve as a Senator. If you fall into this category, please contact the Faculty Senate Office at 737-4344 so a replacement can be appointed to complete the remainder of your term. Some faculty who serve on Senate committees/councils, and who are on 1040 hour appointments, may also be ineligible to continue serving. If the committee/council that you serve on does not specifically allow emeritus faculty, or if you are unsure, please contact the Faculty Senate Office so a determination may be made and/or a replacement identified.
