Stream and riparian zone ecology, including impacts of land use practices; role of large wood in streams; salmonind ecology; stream community dynamics; environmental history.

Role in Consortium:

Reconstruction of historical riparian vegetation and river channels. Analysis of historical change as basis for restoration. Generation and analysis of spatial datalayers to evaluate trajectories of landscape change.
