Redmaid (Calandrinia ciliata) rosettes have radial symmetry, are
12 to 16 inches in diameter, and are mounding 2 to 3 inches high.
Initially rosettes grow prostrate to the ground, and individual leaves
look like little snake heads.
Rosettes eventually grow wider and begin to mound several inches high.
