Habit Foliage Flowers Seed heads
Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) seed heads form a white sphere, which
disperses with a slight breeze (or puff of a child's breath). The pappus,
or white cotton-like substance attached to the seed, aids in wind dispersal.
