Learn more about the history of OSU with this new app.

As the celebration of OSU150 swings into gear, OSU students, staff and alums as well as community members have an easy new way to learn about all things-OSU just by picking up their phones.

The university has introduced an OSU150 app that includes a long list of fun, informative and interactive selections. Navigate the Corvallis campus with a handy interactive map that allows you to learn the history of almost every building. You can also learn about Oregon State’s rich past and access hundreds of hours of oral history archives. The OSU150 celebration continues through fall 2018.

The app allows you to plan your schedule for the next OSU150 festival, and earn points by playing games and taking quizzes that will test your trivia knowledge about Beaver Nation, among other things.

“We’ve tried to capture both the beauty and complexity of the university’s past while showcasing the amazing things happening at OSU today,” said OSU150 Executive Director Shelly Signs. “As the celebration progresses, even more fun items will appear on the app to keep things current. It’s a great way to connect to OSU both near and far.”

The app is available in the Google Play store and the Apple App Store.
