Irish Heath, Connemara Heath, St. Dabeoc's Heath                 dab-EE-shi-a SKO-ti-ka

• Evergreen shrub to about 10 inches tall (25 cm), sticky stems.  Leaves elliptic to oval, glossy dark green, silvery below, and smaller than those of D. cantibrica.
• Sun.
• Hardy to USDA Zone 6      Origin unclear, possibly hybrids of D. azorica and D. cantabrica or selections of D. azorica
.
• 'William Buchanan', a common selection, is considered very floriferous with crimson flowers.  It reaches a height of 30-45 cm and a spread of 46-60 cm.
