The Watershed and Natural Resource Education Program aims to increase the number of educational programs offered in Klamath County, and unite existing programs through coordination and collaboration. The program is working to

1.) formalize new local forest-related education curriculum for youth (K-12),
2.) create new resources for other educators (kits, websites, workshops),
3.) increase collaboration between existing high school forestry programs, outdoors schools, and other community programs, and
4.) implement new on the ground projects for youth and Klamath County citizens.

Extension currently offers many programs related to watersheds, natural resources, and forestry that we hope to share and build upon through this website.

Through this site you can learn more about OSU Extension's Watershed and Natural Resource Education Program, refer to our calendar of events, check-out educational kits and equipment, view program photos, and read current Extension publications. There are also great links for educators, community event information, and up to date information on water issues of the Klamath Basin.
