My research is focused on the management of ergot disease of grass seed crops. I am looking into the role of insects in the spread of a fungal pathogen, Claviceps purpurea contributing the ergot disease. I am also studying the epidemiology of this disease under the supervision of Phil Hamm and Dr. Jeremiah Dung.
