By default, when most content types are used in OSU Drupal 6, a byline (known as Post information in Drupal) will appear somewhere on the page. Usually up by the title. This Post information includes the username of the author of the document as well as a publication time and date stamp.
Often times this byline can be misleading, such as when an office assistant publishes content for his or her director. At other times, the information just isn't necessary. It can be removed.
