14th Biennial Congress of the ISACP
Abstract Submission Guidelines
Please direct your attention to the change in format for the abstracts. Since we first prepared the abstract information, we now have the availability to publish the abstracts in the journal of Veterinary Clinical Pathology. To meet new guidelines, we need to be more concise and limit the abstract to 250 words. Fewer words sounds good, but it will take a little effort to fit all you want to say into so few words. When submitting your abstract, remember to indicate your preference for an oral presentation or a poster.
At the Congress, all oral paper presentations will be of a uniform 15-minute length. Authors should plan a 12- to 14-minute presentation with the balance of time devoted to questions. Computer projectors will be available for PowerPoint presentations. Please bring your PowerPoint presentation (2007 or earlier version) on a portable USB drive. Display boards will be provided for the poster papers. Maximum poster size is 4 feet wide x 3 feet tall.
The abstracts for all papers (oral and poster) presented at the Congress will be published in a proceedings booklet available as part of registration. Authors of abstracts are encouraged to expand their submissions into papers to submit to the Veterinary Clinical Pathology journal.
Travel Awards
Several awards of $500 (domestic) to $1000 (international) each will be available. See the ISACP website for the criteria for applying for the travel awards at .
