The 62nd Northwest Anthropological Conference will be held at the Agate Beach Inn located in Newport, Oregon on the beautiful central Oregon coast. The Agate Beach Inn is a full service conference and lodging facility. All conference events will be held in this facility. The conference is sponsored by the Department of Anthropology, Oregon State University. This years theme is:

CALL FOR PAPERS - Abstracts for both papers and posters must be postmarked and a digital copy sent by February 20, 2009, and should be single-spaced with no more than 150 words.
We have extended the date to February 28, 2009. Question can be directed to Dr. David Brauner at 541-737-3855.

ABSTRACT SUBMITTAL FORM

Lodging - The Best Western Agate Beach Inn has set aside a block of rooms at a special conference rate of $95.00 Hillside or $119.00 Ocean View per night plus 10.5% city room tax. These rates are based on single or double occupancy. Additional guests would be charged $10.00 per person per night. To receive these rates you must reserve your room before March 9, 2009. To make reservations you must call the Best Western reservation department at 1-800-547-3310.
