Events
The Childcare & Family Resources calendar provides parents with events that may be of interest to themselves, their families and/or their children. The calendar shows events & activities that are upcoming at OSU, in the Corvallis Community and occassionally other locations around Oregon. Events range anywhere from Corvallis-Benton Library storytimes, and Corvallis Farmers Market to OSU Emergency Food Pantry, OSU Musical performances and much, much more.
Stay up to date with what is happening through OSU's Be Well website and learn ways to promote your personal wellness! Coming up soon is there Women's Health Event!
June 8th, 2013 from 10AM to 3PM
Events include: Free fishing (12 and under), logging sports demonstrations, guided hikes, local exhibitors and other natural resource activities.
They will have water stations, food vendors and maps and brochures for visitors. To find out a location near you click here.

Wellness Week Activities Centered Around Parents
In cooperation with RecSports' Wellness Week we will be hosting events to improve the wellness of parents at OSU.
The Childcare and Family Resources office sponsors a series of workshops designed for parents during the 12-1 lunch hour on the second Wednesday of each month in MU 211 (with a few exceptions, click here for more details)

The MU Basement is a fun, family friendly location on campus. They have bowling (yes, there are kid size shoes), video games, billiards, and a TV lounge. They are even willing to do birthday parties. For more information contact them at 541-737-2383 or check out their website.
Dixon Recreation
Dixon Recreation has family swimming times and family climbing times (for families with children of all ages). Click here for hours.
Swim costs:
$3 Daily (15 yrs and under)
$6 Daily (16 yrs and over)
$50 20 Pass Swim (15 yrs and under)
Climbing Center costs:
$6 Daily
There are also times that children ages 8-15, if accompianed by a parent, are allowed to participate in many of the activities offered at Dixon. For more information contact them at 541-737-3748 or check out their website.
The holidays can be especially tough for our parents that are struggling to stay in school and support their families. It is for this reason that the Childcare and Family Resources office partners with OSU staff, faculty and departments to help fill holiday wish lists. Contact the office if you are interested in having your family be the potential recipients of gifts.
