Organization Facts: 

We are an unhoused sorority at Oregon State University located in Corvallis, Oregon, dedicated to women in science. There are a variety of different majors that members are part of (such as: 

Biochemistry/Biophysics, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Bioresource Research, Pre-Medicine, Pre-Pharmacy, Pre-Dentistry, Pre-Optometry, Mathematics, Exercise and Sports Science, Environmental Science, General Science, and Zoology). Many of our members are involved in on-campus clubs, off-campus organizations, the University Honors College, professional organizations, honors societies, ASOSU, and intramural sports teams.

Chapter Facts: 

The purposes of this association are: to support women in sciences through social engagement, to encourage academic excellence, and to present information regarding the 'opportunities available in science to young women.

Philanthropy: 

Sigma Delta Omega raises money each year to fund science education programs and projects at Corvallis-area elementary, junior high, or high schools. Each year we sell chocolate covered cherries and have a "Mad Scientist 5k Fun Run" (all proceeds going to our philanthropy program). See our website for more information.
