Center for Civic Engagement - volunteer opportunities offered through OSU.
Hands on Willamette - list of nonprofits in Benton, Linn, Marion, Polk and Yamhill Counties - find volunteer opportunities.
Community Outreach - multi-faceted human service organization provides hope for men, women, and children who are homeless and very low income in the mid-Willamette Valley. Offers many volunteer and internship opportunities for OSU students.
AmeriCorps VISTA - national service program designed specifically to fight poverty.
AmeriCorps - an opportunity to make a big difference in your life and in the lives of those around you. It’s a chance to apply your skills and ideals toward helping others and meeting critical needs in the community.
Peace Corps - opportunity to serve in a developing country for 27 months in areas such as education, health, agriculture, environment, youth and community development, and business/ information technology. There is also a Master's International Program available through the Peace Corps within the OSU Forestry department.
Teach for America - seeks individuals of all backgrounds, majors, and career interests who possess the leadership skills and experience that will enable them to change the prospects of students growing up today and ultimately to exert broader societal influence in our nation that will make it a place of opportunity for all. The Corporation for National and Community Service - a federal agency that engages more than five million Americans in service through Senior Corps, AmeriCorps, and Learn and Serve America, and leads President Obama's national call to service initiative, United We Serve.
National Council of Nonprofits - serves as the national voice for its nonprofit members before Congress and within the Administration, promoting the interests of the nonprofit community and ensuring a seat at the table on all policy initiatives that impact the sector.
