Center for Civic Engagement - volunteer opportunities offered through OSU.

Students in Service - a part-time AmeriCorps program that offers scholarships (education vouchers) to college students who serve their community. By participating in the SIS program, you become part of the AmeriCorps national service network that improves lives and strengthens communities throughout the United States (receive a $1,175 Educational Award for 300 hours of service).

HandsOn Linn-Benton - volunteer opportunities throughout Benton County.

Community Outreach - multi-faceted human service organization provides hope for men, women, and children who are homeless and very low income in the mid-Willamette Valley. Offers many volunteer and internship opportunities for OSU students.

Idealist.org - Search for volunteer opportunities, events, and other concrete ways to get involved.

All For Good - A custom volunteer opportunity oriented search engine that is powered by the largest database of volunteer opportunities on the Internet. Our database of volunteer opportunities includes those from our many prominent non-profit partners as well as those provided directly to us by smaller, grass roots based organizations.

AmeriCorps VISTA - national service program designed specifically to fight poverty.

AmeriCorps - an opportunity to make a big difference in your life and in the lives of those around you. It’s a chance to apply your skills and ideals toward helping others and meeting critical needs in the community.

Peace Corps - opportunity to serve in a developing country for 27 months in areas such as education, health, agriculture, environment, youth and community development, and business/ information technology.

Teach for America - seeks individuals of all backgrounds, majors, and career interests who possess the leadership skills and experience that will enable them to change the prospects of students growing up today and ultimately to exert broader societal influence in our nation that will make it a place of opportunity for all.

Resource Assistance for Rural Environments (RARE) - Qualified college graduates and graduate-level students who are selected as RARE participants assist communities and agencies in the development and implementation of plans for achieving a sustainable natural resource base and improving rural economic conditions while gaining community building and leadership skills.

JET Programme - now in its 24th year, is aimed at promoting grass-roots international exchange between Japan and other nations. The number of countries sending participants has risen over the years, as has the number of participants. In 2010, the Programme has welcomed 4,334 participants from 36 countries.

Omprakash - We build partnerships with grassroots health, education, and environmental projects around the world, and connect them with volunteers, donors, and classrooms that can learn from and support their work. Volunteering is FREE!

Volunteer with Kids - a partnership of precollege programs that are working together to equip and connect students at Oregon State University with volunteer and paid opportunities to work with youth. Experiences with youth can help university students develop skills that are applicable to any job, including leadership, teamwork, critical thinking, problem solving,professionalism, and communication.
