Oregon State University’s Corvallis campus operations will be closed all day on Thursday 1/18 due to continued icy conditions on some roads and walkways across campus. Facilities Services crews and others have made progress, but there are some areas that still have ice and pose a hazard to pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
Corvallis based classes and events are canceled. All classroom and office buildings are closed.
Employees with capacity to work remotely and who are not otherwise scheduled for time off are expected to perform their duties remotely. Employees designated to perform essential on-site work will report to work, unless notified by a supervisor. The university discourages employees from traveling to work as localized road conditions may be variable. Refer to Closures or Curtailment of Operations, as standard application of this matrix applies. Zoom meetings may be held for individuals who are able to work remotely.
