- Conifer, evergreen, shrub or ground cover, low spreading, 2 ft (0.6 m) tall mound and up to 8 ft (2.4 m) wide. Bright blue foliage that is intensified by cold weather; does not discolor in winter.
- Hardy USDA Zone 3 Developed by Monrovia Nurseries (Plant Patent 5,084, Aug. 9, 1983). It was discovered as a sport on Juniperus scopulorum Table Top Blue plants grown at Monrovia Nursery, Azusa, Calif. The sport was removed in November of 1979 and vegetatively reproduced by cuttings. Some authorities think it is a hybrid, possibly with Juniperus horizontalis.
