The last 2 weeks have been a whirlwind, but they have been fun. We were blessed with visits from John's dad and John's cousin Josh, his wife Lori, and their son, Coleman. John and his dad spent a lot of time fishing, but we also managed to get a hike in as well as a trip to the beach. Our visit with the Benton's was spent a little closer to home with our only venture out being a wine tasting/frisbee golf combo. Either way, we had a great time. I've also added an album from the Young Married's water-slide party Rebekah's parents hosted a few weeks ago - also lots of fun. | ![]() |

We spent a great weekend up in Seattle with John's cousin Josh and his wife Lori. Josh is in town working for a while, so we took the opportunity to visit and see the Seattle sites. I've added three new albums. One from our trip to Seattle, and two that should have been up long ago - Our trips to Edisto and Canada. Check them out! |

Last week we said good-bye to Candy (sniff). She served us well, but we needed a more farm-worthy vehicle and Candy was needed by some friends of ours who lost their car in an accident. It was hard to say good-bye - she was my, and our, first car. The same day, we welcomed Miss Nissy (for the record, John named her) into our family and she has been put on clean-up duty. We were blessed this week by Jim and his gang who mysteriously showed up on our doorstep with offers to chop up all of our fallen trees. They'll keep most of the wood, but they left us a cord and a great view. A few new photos have been added to 'Home Sweet Home' and 'Fixins'. |

March has been a month of many babies. Congratulations to Todd and Jennifer who welcomed Ethan into their lives on March 9th, to Josh and Megan with the arrival of Zachariah Aden on the 13th, and to Shawn and Jennifer who had Tanner Joseph on the 18th. More baby pictures can be seen in our 'Friends and Family album'. We've also added our 'Thanksgiving' album and the 'Silver Falls' album with pictures from our hike this past weekend with the Mikkelsens. | ![]() |

Spring has arrived in Oregon, the daffodils, cherries, and plums are blooming and the geese are migrating back to their homeland. I've added some more pictures to "Home Sweet Home". Also, take a look at our "St. Patrick's Day" album. We got together with the NW Hills Young Marrieds for the celebrations. |

In February, Sue and Andrew came to visit us from Alabama. While they were here we went hiking along a beautiful section of the McKenzie River. The 3 mile hike runs along both sides of the river and passes 2 waterfalls; Koosah and Sahalie. We weren't prepared for the snow, but we had a great time anyhow. We also found a hot spring, but it wasn't very hot. Check out the "Sue and Andrew come to visit" album to see more pictures. |
