I sent a reply privately -- but for folks that see this. This isn't a problem -- but a feature of the program. MarcEdit's MarcEditor in 5.x opens large files in a preview mode. Any changes done globally affect the entire file -- but only a preview of the file will be loaded. This essentially was done to allow a file of any size to be edited by the Editor (rather than the actual limit of somewhere around 50-150 MB depending on your virtual memory on your system. You can certainly turn the preview mode off (in the options) -- but I actually recommend using it for large file sets. Makes things work much faster.

I used to always give. Figured my dislike for medical stuff was much less than the need of someone in need of blood. I found drinking plenty of fluids shortly before going in helped the flow. Best to look out the window and not at the surroundings.

When I had an auto accident I got blood someone had donated. Karma. Since then I'm on meds and can't donate but I tell the kids when they turn 18 to do their part.

Hi Terry,

It is interesting to hear about this from your point of view (as a former student in your metadata class). I'm working for a SUMMIT library right now and when the recent decision was being discussed I said I knew how your institution would vote based on my intuition after having class with you. Glad to see that I'm 100% right! :)
