		<description>If you're on DSpace 1.4.x, you no longer have to flatten the site if it isn't TOO deep. I have a three-deep-nested site in the repository I run; works fine.

There's a switch somewhere in dspace.cfg to add nesting layers if you need more.

You do still need to make links relative, though.

Additional tip: external CSS and JS work as designed if you add them to the bitstream format registry. Dunno why DSpace hasn't figured out to do that itself.</description>
