Christmas in October
Tuesday, 30 October 2007
So I finished my second Jack-o-lantern this evening. I needed the boy’s help because we had to clean 3 pumpkins to make it work. Our project for this year — a snow man. Since we don’t get a whole lot of snow in the Willamette Valley, we decided to improves.

This one is so cute! I love it. It’s the “warm” version of a snow many. He almost looks cuddly.

I’d never even thought of using pumpkins that way. I’m hoping we get enough snow this year to even make a snowman. It’s been several years since we’ve seen that amount of snow. I’ll have to remember this idea for next Fall. Does he “glow”?

Yep — we used 3 candles (one for each pumpkin) and he glowed fine.

Ahhh, snow men! We’ve had just enough snow here recently to build our first snow men - but we’ve never done it with pumpkins before! Awesome pick - and thanks for sharing it!
