Good lord, we get an inch of snow and we have an “extreme winter weather alert” in Oregon. Maybe its time to hit the panic button.

We got predictions of highs in the high 40’s/low 50’s, lows descending to as low as 31, with the overall comment “Unseasonably chilly weather.” Which is, of course, right for this area.
If we had an inch of snow at sea level, things would go completely haywire until it melted–probably including thousands of car crashes as people sped up to get out of it.

I have already hit the panic button. Take a look at the destruction in my yard. Photo is on my blog.
