Current projects include speciation of actinides of actinides in spent fuel, advanced materials for radiochemical sensors, and bioenvironmental behavior of actinides. The results of thermodynamical and kinetic studies are interpreted to facilitate speciation, transport modeling, and chemical behavior in separation processes, and evaluate potential applications for nuclear technology, environmental monitoring devices or biomedical applications.
