NairnFEA and NairnMPM and NairnFEAMPMViz (or NairnCode Package) - Information on obtaining and compiling a cross-platform package for doing finite element analysis and material point method analysis, and for visualization of all results. Instructions for using this package in MacOS X, Windows, or Linux systems are in this web site (and in the downloaded package). |
NairnFEAMPM - For MacOS X, you can download this complete package as a univerical binary application including all tools needed to set up finite element and material point method calculations, run them, and visualize the results. You can be running calculations in a fews steps. This download, however, does not include any source code. If you want to work with the source code, download the NairnCode package instead (or in addition to NairnFEAMPM). |

JANFEA - Macintosh application for FEA and MPM analysis. This application is begin replaced by NairnFEAMPM. It will still run older Macs that can not run NairnFEAMPM, but it is no longer actively in development. All new research is being done with NairnFEAMPM and the NairnCode package. |
