Recently I have had to write a paper on Italy and all the different areas of it. I have been doing my research and have found out so many things that I didn’t know. I never realized how truly beautiful Italy was until researching it for a paper, and now I find myself wanting to vacation there in the future. I have seen some beautiful pictures and found some luxury Italy villas that are just amazing.
It used to be that I would think about Italy as Rome, but honestly there are so many diverse cultures and regions in this area of Europe, I am just stunned. For instance there is Sicily. There are not only amazing mountains in this area of Italy but the food is supposed to be incredible. I have checked out the luxury Sicily villas online and not only seen their charm but also their reasonable rates. I didn’t realize you could travel overseas and get such amazing deals.
Then there was Tuscany. Tuscany is a quaint little area with beautiful green landscapes and old fashioned architecture that will just astound you, especially some of the old churches in this region. I didn’t really find any extravagant hotels in this region, but found some luxury Tuscany villas that you can rent by the week. Again, these accommodations were reasonable priced, and from what I am seeing, a bike is the best mode of transportation in this region.
Then there is Sardinia. Sardinia is an island off the coast of Italy and yet is still part of Italy. The beaches there can only be described as Caribbean like. The sand is beautiful and clean and the water bluer than the sky. This area is becoming more touristy than it once was, but is still not a major tourist attraction in Europe, however, it should be. If you go online and take a look at it, I am sure you will find this region of Italy to be amazing. A trip there will find you living amongst the people of Sardinia, and visiting their small towns and shops along the way. Apparently, the thing that makes this region so incredible is the fact that when settlers first landed in this region, they built inland, as they were people of the sea. They did not want to be close to the sea itself and so this left the coastline clean for the building of some luxury Sardinia villas. Many of these accommodations are overlooking the sea and are quite lovely.
In short, I think that my next trip will be to Italy and perhaps to all 3 of these regions. I look forward to experiencing the diversity that Italy has to offer.
