car insurance

So has anyone been paying attention to the elections?  I have been glued to the television, the computer, my cell phone’s news line, and of course the newspapers.  Every day I need to get my fix on the latest things that are happening out there on the campaign trail and see what new developments there are which may give us some indication of how well will be come november.  I already know who I am voting for so I don’t have much of a reason to follow every one of their actions so closely but I really am just so interested in politics that I don’t care.  I guess I have been using politics this season where some other students would be using television, video games, or sports.  When I have some down time from studying I will check the candidates’ web sites for their own updates.  When I am tired of filing through my new auto insurance quotes I can just pop on the tv and get my fix.  That is my big responsibility now that finals are over, getting auto insurance, and even though I care about the possibility of getting a deal of car insurance, I still need something to keep me motivated.  Some day I have actually been using like it were my coffee and replacing my buzz with the blogs buzz of thousands of other potential voters.  My new thing this week has been getting in to those political blogs you hear all of the twenty-four hour news pundits talking about.  It has been really energizing because there are really smart people on those blogs and in only a few days I have learned a lot more from that that I have found to be true than I think I ever have watching the evening news.  All of this I think is a small part of me that hopes some day to become a politician myself.  I mean that is why I decided on secondary education and history as my concentration.  I think that knowledge is power in politics and who knows the mistakes and successes of politicians better than the historians who look at the whole think from after the fact.  I just wish that there were elections year round because in december I am going to have to actually start watching those congress videos on public access to feed my need for politics.
