Fax server

The either day I started my new internship for the business department.  So far I think I have been the butt of jokes or something because I have been working for around a month and have not been trained in anything new with the phone system.  I mean how many times came someone honestly explain a fax server before you have to just nod your head and smile.  I mean I know I am not a business expert or anything but I do know when I am just the simple intern.  I mean I have been working with fax over ip systems since before I was  in college.  I am really here because I want to learn something new and challenge myself.  I don’t new technical training or someone telling me to fill their coffee, I need someone showing me the tricks and the ways the game is really played.  I don’t want to get out in the job world only knowing a couple of aspects the whole thing.  That’s not what makes a good business man.  I think when I go in tomorrow I will have to have a talk with my boss because as you can tell I am pretty passionate about my abilities and sad that they are being squandered.  I don’t usually like to use this forum as a place to vent frustration but I just don’t have anything else on my mind right now.  I do still have all of my classes going and assignments due, but when your pride and sense of purpose are hurt I think, at least for me, it crosses all areas of your life and hits you at your core.  I just hope that I get some kind of response because the people working there really are nice people but I may have just been too passive in my work day and led them to think that I don’t care what I do or learn.  Some of the people I work with are amazing business men and women but I think that they don’t see any value in reaching out to me when they are already busy enough with their jobs.  I just hope that a couple of people are willing to take time out and show me some things.
