PBX phone system

I have some great news that I found out this morning.  I got approved for a federal work-study here on campus.  Basically I get a guaranteed job from the university, which pays very well, and can create my own hours for whatever job I select.  I have yet to get approved for one the last two years and now I am just so excited because this will give some more experience outside of the classroom and the restaurant business, of which I am quite well versed by now.  I took a look at the job listings this morning after I found out and have already applied for a clerical job.  I am a business major so I feel that having never stepped foot in a professional office before I graduate would be a horrible mistake on my part and a loss for them because I wouldn’t have any idea of what’s going on.  When I was searching through the jobs I was looking for the little skills involved with each task.  I found this one with business phone systems and technology training included in the work-study.  I talked to the supervisor and he said that I would be trained on SIP phone systems and that it is the phone systems that all of campus runs on and most busniesses use now.  So now I am just buzzing with excitement because I really want to just end the semester now and get to work.  I will be taking classes this summer while I am working there so I will be really busy all summer long, but that’s the way I like it to be.  I just don’t see enough time in my life to rationalize slowing down and taking a break.  I mean I am young and have so many thing in this life that I want to get done.  If I don’t get them all done, so what, at least I tried.  My goal now is to just try as hard as I can at everything that comes my way.  Maybe I will slow down some day , but that day is so far off now that I don’t even see it on the horizon.
